Fairstreet Sports, a Noida-based company, and Dorna Sports have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of bringing the Moto GP to India.

Both companies are in talks with the following about it:
The State Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The Sports Ministry of India.
Things will be confirmed only after discussions move forward in a positive direction. However, Mr. Carlos Ezpeleta, Managing Director, Dorna Sports is very positive about it.
Expansion in India through Moto GP race was a no-brainer for the company to reach the world’s biggest market for two-wheelers and an important country for all five MotoGP manufacturers, he said.

His statement during a press conference in Delhi on Wednesday, along with bigwigs of Fairstreet Sports stamped the news.
Moto GP in India 2023 is expected to happen at the Buddh International Circuit. Furthermore, the venue has hosted a couple of racing events during 2011-13 for racing lovers.
What Is The Purpose?
The initiative is being taken for the purpose of conducting the first edition of the Grand Prix of Bharat. However, Dorna Sports has not confirmed the dates yet.
Once the deal is finalised, MotoGP will then become the first major bike racing event in India. India has successfully organised Asia Road Racing Championship between 2016-18.
More importantly, the success of Moto GP in India 2023 will also multiply the possibilities of two World Championship events.
MotoGP continues to earn new audiences and fans worldwide.
This makes it imperative for us to expand its presence to new destinations where fans and riders are growing every year.
